hi and thanx for reading.

i have a Kreg 1.4 fiesta.

the problem is when i start it up, and rev the car, there is no blowing noise, but when you put it under strain with the engine, there is a blowing noise, and i cant find any sighns or trace of a blow on the exhaust pipe,

unless its moving the joint clamp when the engine is moving, and thats where the blowing is cominf from, other than that, i dont have a clue.

anybody advice me further to the solution to my problem, would be greatfully appreciated

thanks folks

Blowing where from, engine or under the car.

rev car up & ask someone to listen all around the car?

agree with pee wee get a mate to listen, could be vacuum hose or a bad exhaust joint. infact could even be induction related .

just to let you all know the problem was, all the exhaust head bolts were loose, thats what was causing the blowing,

thanx to everyone who replied.

PLEASE COULD YOU CLOSE THIS NOW

thanx wayne

Glad you sorted it out Wayne, did you find it by getting someone to listen while you created the blowing?

No need to close these topics as they can be of future help & use. :thumb:

hi peewee

thanx for your advice, i found the problem after i had dismantled the exhaust from the front pipe, and relised that the front downpipe, was loose as F**K, so i resealed the joint, with putty, and then took of the heat shield, and noticed that all the manifold bolts were loose, and a few were almost out. ( lucky to catch them before i did loose them)so i tightened them up and checked it, but still blowing, so i took the gasket off and cleaned the engine were it goes and gasket, and refitted it with exhaust putty, and now its as quiet as a mouse,

1 happy guy lol :D

thanx
