what is the electromagnet resistance of an injector all about?

and for a 2.0 silver top injectors, if they are 14.2, 14.4. 14.4, 14.3 ohms is that anything to worry about?

You get low and high impedence injectors.. zetecs use high impedence.. as do pretty much every european ford since the cossie..

Low impedence are 1-3 ohms typically.. high impedence are 12-16 ohms..

bear in mind an ohm isn't a lot of resistance at all electrically speaking so the slight varience should make much difference, asi wouldn't have thought escort ecus are particualrly hi tech

Not 'electrically speaking', anything over 0.3 of an ohm is regarded as too much resistance in a circuit.

So all my circuits with 1k resistors in are 'too much resistance' ?

Depends what the circuit is. You should know that.

I do know that, you made the irrelevant incorrect blanket statement!

Thanks for the replies

Stu / ScORTED, would the difference in those injectors be anything to worry about?

as i said before we're not talking anything hi tech should be fine but stus the man to ask
No

Not bullshiting anyone bud, you miswrote your statement, that was all i was pointing out, no harm meant

And no my comment was correct. mearly pointing out that the context written was misleading
