Posted April 20, 201014 yr what is the electromagnet resistance of an injector all about? and for a 2.0 silver top injectors, if they are 14.2, 14.4. 14.4, 14.3 ohms is that anything to worry about?
April 20, 201014 yr You get low and high impedence injectors.. zetecs use high impedence.. as do pretty much every european ford since the cossie.. Low impedence are 1-3 ohms typically.. high impedence are 12-16 ohms.. Edited April 20, 201014 yr by Stu
April 20, 201014 yr bear in mind an ohm isn't a lot of resistance at all electrically speaking so the slight varience should make much difference, asi wouldn't have thought escort ecus are particualrly hi tech

So all my circuits with 1k resistors in are 'too much resistance' ?

April 20, 201014 yr Depends what the circuit is. You should know that. I do know that, you made the irrelevant incorrect blanket statement!
April 20, 201014 yr Author Thanks for the replies Stu / ScORTED, would the difference in those injectors be anything to worry about?
April 20, 201014 yr as i said before we're not talking anything hi tech should be fine but stus the man to ask
April 21, 201014 yr Author as i said before we're not talking anything hi tech should be fine but stus the man to ask cheers, sorry misread your first post No

You should know that. I do know that, you made the irrelevant incorrect blanket statement! And no my comment was correct. mearly pointing out that the context written was misleading
