April 24, 201014 yr Author probably knackered coil packs or coil pack loom, assuming its been serviced properly and the timings correctonly changed the oil and oil filter and all the coil packs look in very good condition with no splitsor cracks and when i say holding back its onlt a touch !
April 24, 201014 yr you can't visually inspect a coil pack I'm afraid... and you'd need to cut the wiring of the coil pack loom open to discover if its fcuked or not
April 25, 201014 yr Author you can't visually inspect a coil pack I'm afraid... and you'd need to cut the wiring of the coil pack loom open to discover if its fcuked or notok is there anywhere u would sugest i could take it to get the problem sorted once and for all ?thanks mate
April 25, 201014 yr Author depends what the problem is for sure, I'd suggest taking it to a specialist found out today only seems to do it when it gets warmishany ideas about that ?
April 25, 201014 yr its probably electrical, but without having the car to diagnose it could be anything
April 27, 201014 yr Author Rs2000's don't have MAF's for a startthanks scorted i think rolling road is the best way to diagnose the problem other wise i will start changing all bits again and while its running dont want to tempt fate!oh and another little question how come my fan never cuts incarnt find out why so i have had to wire a switch in to my car and ideas?thanks
April 27, 201014 yr the fan is controled by a seperate temperature sesnor on the thermostat housing, assuming the coolant system has been properly bled and isn't full of air and the car is getting up to temperature properly the sensor has failed or its wiring is incorrect / missing / damaged
