only changed the oil and oil filter and all the coil packs look in very good condition with no splits

or cracks

and when i say holding back its onlt a touch !

you can't visually inspect a coil pack I'm afraid... and you'd need to cut the wiring of the coil pack loom open to discover if its fcuked or not

found out today only seems to do it when it gets warmish

any ideas about that ?

its probably electrical, but without having the car to diagnose it could be anything
MAF or IAT?
Rs2000's don't have MAF's for a start

thanks scorted i think rolling road is the best way to diagnose the problem

other wise i will start changing all bits again and while its running dont want to tempt fate!

oh and another little question how come my fan never cuts in

carnt find out why so i have had to wire a switch in to my car and ideas?

thanks

the fan is controled by a seperate temperature sesnor on the thermostat housing, assuming the coolant system has been properly bled and isn't full of air and the car is getting up to temperature properly the sensor has failed or its wiring is incorrect / missing / damaged
