I have bought a new run around for the time being.I have bought Matts estate.I picked it up lasr weekend like this.

In the last week I have fitted

2 lower arms,

2 drop link bars,

electric mirrors,

ghia map lights and 20 sec delay relay,

colour coded mirror covers and handles (need to fit the rear handles)

towbar,

back box,

uprated door speakers,

removed door mouldings and badges,

good clean inside and out.

 

Got some 17s im refurbing that I will be putting on when they are done.

That looks spot on after a clean! I was gonna post you could have give it a clean, but you beat me to it! :lol:

It needs a machine polish really but I aint paying for that to be done.

Just got to swap my stereo from the cabby over and sort drivers lock and its all done.

I have finished painting the handles and got them fitted.I may do the boot strip aswell,not decided on that yet.

Also changed the wheels,I think they suit this car loads more than the cabby.

Quite like them, the colour seems to work well.

 

However now looks like your estate is ready to drive over that pile of earth in the last photo

Yeah it is a bit high but I will be using the towbar so cant lower it to much.Was thinking about doing a 40mm drop.

looks good mate could do with lowering it just to make it sit better.

Is the Escort now sat on the RS wheels? Preffered the 17"s on the cabby to the estate tbh.

Done a few little jobs on the estate.

Painted the dash surround panther black.

Had a half leather interior from a 3 door lying around so fitted that.
