right done everything for mot but the only prob i have is the handbrake it holds the car with no prob but they is no more clicks on lever and is 2 high they is no more adjustment left on handbrake side so is they any other way to adjust
might need new shoes. remove the drum and adjust your shoes using a flat screw driver.

its the correct way to adjust them though.

 

undo the cable at the back of the handbrake (long reach 10mm socket)

pull the drums off then adjust the shoes out a few clicks. try the drum back on, if its tight but still goes on then its alright if not go another 2/3 notches.

 

you might need to grind the lip off the inside of the drum.

 

once the drums are back on, then tighten up the cable until both wheels hold when on but still spin freely when off (normally 3-5 'clicks')

I will agree with the drums things, Car160180 changed both of mine (due to them needing replaced, nothing to do with handbrake) and the handbrake went from 5/6 clicks to 2 maybe 3 on a steep hill and it's rock solid now.

that could very well have been your problem, or the drums were seriously worn.
