dawes
ive just bought a new set of ford alloys my old ones were 195/50r15's and the new ones are 205/50r16's from a mondeo, does anyone know what the new tyre preassurs should be and will it mess up the milometer and speedo? MikeM
Not sure about the pressure but ideally you'd want 195/45/16 tyres on the mondeo alloys to keep the speedo in check. Thats what i have on mine

They new alloys look better now though they are the 5 spokes with the center cap over the nuts up to the old triangle ones that come on the finess escorts. (pics will go up soon when i take some)

I wouldn't worry too much about the new different size of tyres - any difference they make to the speedo is minimal (+-1mph).
