Just a small update, I wahed the car again last weekend & gave it another coat of wax that seemed to get a deeper shine this time. I assume the layering with the megs nxt gave it the deeper glossy shine?

Today I simply washed the car & the brilliant deep shine is now back looking like its only just been waxed so rather happy.

Last week I tried waxing the alloys too so this week just a wash sufficed to return the shine nicely.

Started cleaning the engine bay up too but ill update that as it gets better, took a few before pics to compare when its tidied up.

ive seen a chap on DW put a good 50+ layers on his car hahah!!

 

it works wonders doesnt it, makes washing easy once a couple of layers are put on,

 

Clay will remove wax etc, so you will have to reapply it after,

 

Rinse Car (could APC all the door shuts etc for extra shine)

wash 2 bucket method

Clay (with plenty of lube to stop marring etc)

Wash 2 bucket method

Dry (microfibres etc)

Polish (SRP x 2 coats works great)

Wax (2 coats to, leave a good 30mins between the coats)

 

and stand back and admire
