my ecu in my 1.8 escort is a JUMP ecu what i would like to know would a DARK ecu superchip work with this ecu ?

probably not, but if they have the exact same map in them it might! if you can try before you buy it may work

but you'd probably have to have it reflashed for your cars ecu

JUMP is 1.8 - DARK is 1.6 - so not without a reflash.
