get the seller to weld a few bits of metal to show you it works.

general condition, tip look ok?

wires undamaged, spool complete.

well i took my chances and just brought it , only £20 so cant go wrong! bottle of gas there etc , dont know if its got any in though. the earth crocodile clip is all rusty so going to clean that up for a good earth , the plug also could do with replacing on it as thats cracked . turned it on and all the wire feed works ok and switch on and that , just struggles on feeding a little as the wires rusty from where its been sitting , where it clean it feeds through fine though.

can i post up some pictures and see if people can give me a bit more of idea on how to use it? i know the knobs for wire speed

from the back there is a very small plastic pipe which im not sure what its for , does this have something to do with the gas? the pipe sits in the gas bottle but doenst look "secure" and looks as if would leak , but i not sure how they go so any advice is good...

not bad for the money... if it works!.

To check for gas just open the tap up... depress the trigger on the gun and you will hear it hissing, if not the bottles are about 10-15 quid, i know halfords do them

gas hiss out the bottle so must be something left in there , now the bottle has just a hole in it , where the plastic tube can sit , but it just doenst seem right to me?

these is no gas regulator on there , is there ment to be one?

I hope you've got a decent mask young man.

or is the gas flow purely controlled by the bottle?
no, as the bottles are only low pressure mate

ok just looking at the halfords site and the gas bottles dont seem to be the same as mine? as mine as a bit screwed into it with the flow switch if thats what its called on the top , or do you remove this when changing a bottle and screw into the new bottle? as regarding a welding mask i have yet to get one , of course i dont plan to use it with out.
