June 5, 201014 yr i would also say mk4 astra - which would surely be a backwards step? my mum has a 1.8 CDX auto and we are going to sell it as she hates it

"If everybody looked the same, we'd get tired of looking at each other!" Oh, and I'm guessing mk4 astra, too, but going off the fact he's replied since the first guess, I'm wondering if it's something else???
June 5, 201014 yr im going with mk4 astra aswell was gonna say zafira but the bonnets not sloped enough and i cant think of any other vauxhalls around that share that style grill ...... as for the people who hate these kinda threads, well done you just spent 10 seconds of your life replying to one

June 5, 201014 yr I was thinking MK4 Astra too. To be cheaper to insure, won't it be petrol? Which surely means it will be more expensive to run?
June 5, 201014 yr what engine lurks under the bonnet then and i assume you will be putting some alloys on there? looks like its on castors with those.they look good colour coded with the later model smoked headlights and tail lights. as for inside maybe change to a leather sterring wheel from CD/CDX/SRI and silver dash trim from sxi or sri. thats what i would do anyway (not like i planned to get a 1.4 mk4 astra 5 door LS with aircon as my first car and things went tits up and ended up with the corolla )only thing we hate about my mums (other than the colour) is the ride and the seats. handles well, goes well and been one of the most reliable cars we've owned. now going to sell it and buy a focus or corolla
