June 5, 201014 yr I'm, presuming you lowered the car using shorter springs ??If so you have to adjust the camber at the wishbone which you cant cos its non adjustable unless you spend money on something like area 6 lower arms... Edited June 5, 201014 yr by Squiz
June 5, 201014 yr You need to clarify if you're talking about toe or camber. Both have different causes.
June 5, 201014 yr Author I'm, presuming you lowered the car using shorter springs ??If so you have to adjust the camber at the wishbone which you cant cos its non adjustable unless you spend money on something like area 6 lower arms... its got coilovers shocks on it, they were on when i had the car, so i think these can be adjusted, or is it the wishbone that needs doing sorry i have no idea im a women You need to clarify if you're talking about toe or camber. Both have different causes. i think camber, as the top of the wheel is under the wheel arch and the bottom is sticking out, both front wheels are the same.
June 5, 201014 yr Yes its camber is wrong cos the shocks have lowered the carand altered the geometry.only option is to put up with tyre wear on inner edge or to fit adjustable camber wishbones.Area 6 are the only company i know od off hand that make emHeres a link to themhttp://area-six.co.uk/Adjustable%20Camber%...sion%20Arms.htm Or wind the shocks back up till you get to original height and camber settings maybe ??

June 6, 201014 yr Author nice to finally find out whats wrong with the car What's wrong is you've lowered the car far too much. ive not lowererd the car it was like it wen i got it, as its got coilovers on shud be able to higher it nar,
June 6, 201014 yr diy'ing the arms to adjust the camber involves moving the ball joint in anywhere from 10-15mm,this of course needs to be measured accurately otherwise you could end up making it worse. or to do it proper you'll need adjustable top mounts or adjustable bottom arms as said above.
June 16, 201014 yr Just out of interest how far have you dropped? Ive dropped 50mm on my MK6 escort with coilovers and I only have 16s, everytime I've had my car digitally tracked I've been well within the camber limits. If you haven't dropped much it may not be the camber although it does sound like it but I'm surprised the garages you've been to haven't advised you of such.
