Posted June 6, 201014 yr Well, not really updated my car ownership on here of late, not really been bothered. I've got a MK5 Escort which I had been running about in, but it needs some body work doing for the MOT, so it's been off the road a few weeks. I decided it was about time I bought myself something to shoot about in for the summer so I can go to some shows and stuff, so I picked this up over the weekend.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02774.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02775.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/massivewangers/My%20Cars/N166%20HHY/DSC02776.jpg FFitted with a 2.0 Mondeo lump, 130PS inlet, stainless back box, Koni suspension, 16" OZ Super Ts, RS2000 front brakes, GTI kit, colour coded bumpers, black projectors, HID kit, RS2000 steering wheel, GTI half leather, leccy sunroof and a couple of other bits. Has 11 months test, 5 months tax, just had new clutch and a driveshaft rebuilt, and also came with an ST170 manifold thats been hacked about to fit an Escort. Might fit that at some point. Body work isn't mint; it seems solid enough, just the paint isn't great in places, but it will do for a runabout. For what I ended up paying for it, I'm not going to complain. Plans are limited to fitting a stereo, standard parcel shelf, maybe fit the ST170 manifold with a stainless mid section and possibly upgrade to 300mm front brakes, as the RS2000 ones are pants. Might well sell the projectors too, as I'm not totally sold on them to be honest with you. Outside that, drive it and get my other one looking proper

June 6, 201014 yr Author Thanks for the comments so far. It's ok, doesn't go nearly as well as my old 2.0 MK6 but never mind, can't complain for the price. Going to see how I get on with the lights, I've got some standards if I decide to ditch these, so they might appear in the for sale section at some point. Looks nice that, but what happened to the Ovlov? Sold it in January. Had some issues with student finance and haven't had any support since before Christmas last year, so I had to downsize to something more sensible. Things are slightly better now, so I might well tweak my MK5 and fit a proper engine, as I'm missing the turbo excitement! Let me know if you break it Shocking John, shocking lol. If I do break, it's unlikely it would be until the MOT runs out though. I'll see how I go, just plan to hack about in it for the next few months while I get the other up to scratch

Its not a saloon are you feeling ok lol It was owned by a chap called Rich, think his username on his is lunaticrik, he was selling it a while ago, end of last summer, he part ex'd with the guy I bought it from for an ST24. I'd sooner have had a saloon or three door hatch, but this was cheap, so it will do Not really, it's just bog standard at the moment.
