hi, just wondering what choices i have of gearboxes for my escort as mine is fooked

its an l reg mk5b 1.6 zetec with a front mounted starter iirc... would i be able to fit a mk6 1.6 gearbox in or are the mounting different?

also is there any other gearboxes that will fit?

as far as im aware its the ib5 gearbox on both mate, but keep your original mounts just incae. should be straight swap though iirc
