Posted June 10, 201014 yr Just recieved some of my tax back in post, it says on the back "This payable order can only be paid through a bank/building society account. It cannot be cashed at a post office". The words 'NOT NEGOTIABLE' mean that the payable order does not have to be passed through an account in your name. what i want to know is can i cash this at like cash converters or the likes? i know they charge but can it be done or is it just a case of putting it in the bank and waiting? Its just with it saying this can only be cashed at a post office in caps made me wonder.
June 10, 201014 yr I'd just wait whatever you can do with it, why pay someone else when you can just pop it in the bank?
