Just recieved some of my tax back in post, it says on the back

"This payable order can only be paid through a bank/building society account. It cannot be cashed at a post office".

The words 'NOT NEGOTIABLE' mean that the payable order does not have to be passed through an account in your name.

what i want to know is can i cash this at like cash converters or the likes? i know they charge but can it be done or is it just a case of putting it in the bank and waiting? Its just with it saying this can only be cashed at a post office in caps made me wonder.

I'd just wait whatever you can do with it, why pay someone else when you can just pop it in the bank?
