Posted June 12, 201014 yr Results so far:South Africa 1-1 MexicoUruguay 0-0 France Feel free to post what you will regarding the greatest show on earth. 3rd game in andive got to say ive een a little disappointed with the standard of football on show, South Afrca Vs Mexico was a bit of a bore as was the Fance Vs Uruguay match. South Korea Vs Greece is slightly better with South Korea looking the better side and with 40 mins gone in the match they are 1-0 to the good. One thing im not that happy about is all these bloody trumpets, they sound like a swarm of bees, if im honest its spoiling the football a little for me, lets hope England have some fans out there who will want to raise the roof with some singing. Next game today is Argentina Vs Nigeria @ 3PM, Looking forward to this one, will be nice to watch Messi + co if they can hit top form Im off to start setting up my outside TV/Barbecue area ready for the three lions tonight, come on

June 13, 201014 yr I have to admit to not being a footy fan, but farther in law is watching it, is it just me, or is that noise of the horns/blowing things that the crowd are playing (sounds like a plauge of bees) in the background really really annoying
June 13, 201014 yr Obviously this is hirarious to me. For WEEKS we've heard the fans on radio and tv interviews saying how England will actually win the cup and steamroller USA... You lot constantly build yourselves up for a massive fall, and it happens time and time again.

June 13, 201014 yr my views on england=Well ,football in general im a coventry city fan and proud but obviously i follow england in world cups. the thing is people was saying we are gunna smash USA etc,do they really know owt thou?because if you looked at the usa squad you would have noticed in the last few years they have came on alot ie young players has got better,they read the game very good and are hard to play against.I felt england did alrite, but while people blame GREEN for the freak goal maybe they should question why usa wernt closed down and why they were aloud to have so much of the ball? either way i think gerrard and lampard need to be split because they are the same kind of player and in my eyes just ant working. June 13, 201014 yr I dunno who you's have been talking to but NOBODY i know or have heard on tv or anything even expect england to get to the semi's, not even that guy from match of the day.
June 13, 201014 yr I actualy thought we did well, we closed down the ball which is refreshing from england who normally sit back off the ball. I think Hesky did rubbish, All well and good getting yourself in position, but what a pants final touch. MOTM for me was Johnson - as a non-football watcher i've never even heard of him befofre. Personally our weakness this game was our defence, how many times were we caught on the break from the USA? Our stirkers also failed to deliver the final touches. The midfield was awesome though.
