hi i have a mk 3 fiesta si with 2.0 ltr zetec up front the car is fully stripped includeing second skin removed from boot. now the trouble i aim having i think is partly due to heavyer engine and partly due to no wait what so ever on the back end. when brakeing normaly its fine but if you doing a fair speed and brake sharp and hard the back wheels lock up and try to over take the front ones. this is no fun what so ever when corning at 50-60 mph. so i was just wondering do these cars have load brakeing valves on the back or if not is there any easy fix to moving more brakeing twards the front or shall i just get bigger front brakes ? i.e escort 1.8 brakes? cheers
The first thing to do is get the car onto a brake tester at an MOT station to make sure the balance is right. Once you have this information then you can make an educated decision.
