For the love of all that is holy...... why why why.

 

I love my movies especially old time classics, however being a movie lover i understand the need that sometimes old movies can be re-hashed or re-made, i think they call it Re-imagined.

 

Movie's like Tron and StarTrek i can understand with todays technology Hollywood can make some old Movies better but every now again they get it wrong Alice in Wonderland a classic example what i load of shite that was.

 

As a young lad growing up the Wizard of Oz was my all time favourite movie and still watch it now and again with my kids, its a timeless classic that no amount of re-hashing or re-imagining could ever better.

 

So what do Hollywood do, They decide to Make a Prequel. A prequel for crying out loud, how can there be a prequel to a movie based on a dream.

 

Sam Raimi the Spiderman Director has agreed to Direct and Robert Downy Jnr is being lined up to play the wizard, and you can bet your life Johnny Depp will appear some where too.

 

This is going to be the first of four Oz films to be made
