Posted June 19, 201014 yr just fitted a 2.0 mk1 mondeo engine in my escort gti and got it all in and wat not but doesnt seem to want to idle i have used my ecu and the 2.0 injectors my inlet and 2.0 maf sensors could do with a vacuum pipe diagram if anyone has one or any advise
June 19, 201014 yr Just like all the gazillion threads of this nature, running the wrong ECU will lead to problems.
June 19, 201014 yr Author iv 2 litre injectors maf sensor thorttle body on my 1.8 inlet manifold 1.8 crank sensor and the rest of the sensors 2 ltr plug leads and plugs gti gearbox and clutch gti waterpump, oil pump and sump running on a 1.8 ecu but had a friend run a 2 ltr fine one 1.6 ecu ??

June 20, 201014 yr my fiesta has the 2.0ltr mondeo in it thats running 2.0 ltr throttle plate 2.0 injectors 2.0 ltr maf sensore and 1.6 ecu and 1.6 inlet and a part from the lumpy idle ( between 900 and 1000 ) its runs fine and taps on abit you must have another problem mate because it would still idle on that ecu even if it runs like a bag of crap try unplugging the maf and try agen ?
