I would be very suprised if he has Pete... What is it with you lot!! Police are far better drivers than ANY of you........ so how can you all go against them.... It annoys me when people judge others just because of there uniform!!! let me ask you Posters a question, you are all so quick to Fcuking judge a policemans driving?!!!! How many police cars have you actually seen crashed or in an accident for real? (not tv or all that bollacks).............. Not many if at all??? yea!! mostly see normal cars that drive at normal speeds in an accident than you do a high speed police car fighting crime. Rant over! cherrybeard Posted July 15, 2010 Share Posted July 15, 2010 Does this advanced training that they undergo include overtaking two cyclists, one after the other, on a tight, blind bend whilst seemingly having no need to perform this manouevre? A bend which less than two weeks ago, almost claimed someone in similar circumstances. I don't doubt that they are better drivers than the average road user. I do think that too many slip through the net who aren't prepared to be disciplined and use a higher amount of judgment 100% of the time. My post isn't in response to the photos (the faults of the outcomes are not apparent). The police do not turn into elite, driving robots with no emotion. They are still human and we rely on them to have a certain character and mindset to use their training for what it was intended. Otherwise all these high standards count for nothing. Another not crash but epic cop fail was the knobend in Telford who was caught doing 150mph on the M54 in his High Speed Persuit vehicle without any lights or siren... He was suspended for 2 weeks and then told that it was fine for him todo it and it was classed as "Stretching his legs" as he needed to know what his car was capable of... For those 2 reasons i have NO respect for traffic cops, There no better than anyone, Just watch Interceptors or RoadWars when there in the EVO or the Scooby and see how "Responsible" they act. No prisoners would be put in the back of that BMW......It belongs to a certain specialist unit, they dont carry prisoners in the back for very very good reason. can i just state it is a specialist vehicle. the specialist vehicles has illuminous round spots on each corner of the car to signify which department . take for example the bmw shown in this post has yellow spots i believe they are armed officers.
