digital gauges van? and rev counter?

right looking at fitting the white dials out of a puma or car such as this, with a rev counter in it is the wiring going to be already their? as i already have a digital mileage in mine, so what i am asking is will it have wiring their already done for the rev counter?? and is their a set of clocks with a rev counter in suitable for a diesel van??

would prefer white but if not i will happily have a black 1

Should work black or white. My X reg TD had no problems swapping black digital clocks with no rev counter to white clocks with a rev counter.

Everything worked fine.

I have got some black digi clocks out of a petrol Escort if they are any good to you

I have a W reg escort van 1.8 n/a diesel, it came with black digi dials with no rev counter, so i bought some white digi's with a rev counter, plugged them in and the rev counter dont work.

 

Now when the battery on my van is dying the clocks do a sweep around the dials and the rev counter does a sweep also so i know they work just i dont think there is a feed for it to work normally.

yeah youll just need a signal wire from somewhere like the end of the coil if i remember rightly or probably got that totally wrong lol

pull out the clocks, check for a green wire running to pin.10 on the plug if not present then you dont have a signal wire, in that case run one from pin.10 to the coil, simples

i have the same problem escort 18 n/a diesel fitted white dials no revcounter action but as it is a diesel no coil! any one help please?
