sidrick
Its baffling when I come to this forum and see someone get flamed for his "croozing" thread, then this (seemingly tolerable) thread crops up a week later. People like the chance to show off their e-penis in threads like this.

If your referring to those select few that openly admit doing some of these speeds on public use roads all I can say is there the feckin the lowest form of idiots and hopefully when they do die in some horribly flame saturated rolling crash they dont kill some poor innocent c*nt in the process. Brown
Put your brain in, lad. I'm clearly not referring to people who's speeds are track based am I?! Idiot. I'd be surprised if more than 50% of these speeds were done on tracks

Brown
^Turn it in. I'm not remotely interested in how any of you on here drive. I'm simply stating that a "croozing" thread gets flamed, but this thread is acceptable. It speaks volumes

I'm simply stating that a "croozing" thread gets flamed, but this thread is acceptable. It speaks volumes I was curious how fast people have driven, I have not done mine on a track but I have done it on a road that accepts the fast speeds. I'm simply stating that a "croozing" thread gets flamed, but this thread is acceptable. It speaks volumes seems to me you have a awful tendency of making brash even arrogant assumptions on only the most flimsy of indications? 1. the thread didnt get "flamed", his approach to how he explained were he'd been got "responded" too along with the explanaition to why it was responded to in a certian manor 2. maybe if your a bit more specific about the cause of your "bafflement" those few thread readers that are still paying you even the minimum of attention anymore may be able to assist you. 3. you really shouldn't throw the term "idiot" around when you have no way of assuring that the target whom you are referring to is not of a higher intelect and IQ than yourself therefore by default estabilishing youself of a level even more defunct than a "idiot"

Rob01
Where I live is very rural and quiet and has a few good bits of straight, long road and I got just under 140mph on the clocks of my old 2.0 escort on a well known straight, but in reality it was probably more like 120ish if i had a GPS on at the same time. I think I got 125ish from my old gti iirc. My friends Vauxhall Cavalier SRi130 went off the clocks at 140mph (I think), but it was reading 123mph on the GPS, just shows how inaccurate speedos are up at these speeds, not that they need to be accurate at the top end for a family car.
