possible 5dr rs2000 rwd turbo conversion

right guys id like some opinions on what has been running through my head i have a mk6 5 door state blue gti im thinking of rs2000 engine and all 4x4 running gear and the blanking off front drive shafts on box and just keeping rear wheel drive , now is the rear beam a straight fitment from standard and would the diff fit does anyone know , if this does go to plan i shall find a shell to cut driveshaft tunnel out of if anyone has heard of this being done or has done it please comment on opinions or tips greatly welcome at the moment its all thinking along and making sure things arnt too much of a challenge lmao

1) There is no rear beam

2) The rear-end isn't a direct bolt-on

3) The transfer box is the weak link, running it in 2wd will make that exponentially worse

4) Idea is fail

5) Its near impossible to find all the 4x4 parts you'd need anyway, short of buying donor car, inwhich case just use that anyway, instant 4x4!

6) for what it would cost I'd buy spanners mk5 that's been converted to rwd
