Escort Estate - Rear Cross member

Hi,

 

I've got an escort estate which has failed the MOT due to a rotten rear crossmember/box section. (it goes across the width of the car and sits just behind the rear panel/bumper.

 

Does anyone know if this is avaialble as a repair panel or is it a case of make up a section using sheet steel?

 

I've tried the dealers, who said Ford don't do them anymore, & Hadrians Panels who weren't sure if they could get one.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I've not seen any of those parts for sale, my suggestions would have been to try the places that you have tried unfortunately
