Horrible driving position in these, the pedals are all over to the right and I barely fit in it.

 

Bit of a tidy and it'd look alright, though

 

I'm not sure which car you think you've driven, but the compact driving position is excellent IMO, and the pedals are in exactly the same place as every other E36(e30 and E46 too). There's plenty of head room and the chair goes so far back that I cant touch the pedals and I'm about 6'3"....

Definitely picks up speed quicker :)

 

A universal heat shield had been ordered and I'll fit that and a cold air feed when it arrives :)
