my Escort Van for ... open to suggestion

looking to swap my escort van , will take offers as im open minded - car im after must not be lowered (or lowered much ) as where i work now is really bumpy - this, and the fact that i need 5 seats now, are the reasons for me wanting to swap the van off. im located in the Aylesbury, Bucks area but am willing to travel to meet.

 

van is MOT'd until April 2011 , and has about 4 months tax left

RS2000 recaros

lowered on Gmax shocks and springs, -60mm

mountney steering wheel

hi spec front bumper

single wiper conversion

15" alloys

front splitter

Cobra alarm

Plylined in the back, blacked out rear windows protected by window guards on the inside

 

van runs sweet, regularly gets about 500 miles to a tank , so very economical. always starts first time as well. Bodywork isnt mint being a van but there are no major knocks, just a few dents and marks. the only advisories for the MOT were that the van is lowered (Which is obvious!) and that one of the lower arms was worn. i had both lower arms replaced with brand new units about 2000 miles ago.

 

bad points:

 

front bumper was filled badly by a previous owner, has been given a VERY quick blowover to hide it, could do with smoothing off really

alternator squeals for first ten seconds of running, after the solenoid clicks off its silent though

tracking needs doing

NS foglight missing, as some plonker stole it

rear arches have been rolled by someone, but NSR wasnt done overly well

 

anyway, open to suggestions, would prefer something diesel, but open to ideas, other car must also have a decent amount of MOT and at least a bit of tax. Please note the van is on the 3 spoke alloys now (as some of the pics show it on multispokes) and its pretty dirty in the last two pics !!

What sort of value car are you looking at? i'd love this but only have my mk5 to swap although may be of interest as it costs nothing to run and being a 1.3 cheap to tax and insure, have a look in show us your motor and drop me a pm its on rs alloys although id like them for the van tax up next month but could be negotiable if i kept the alloys mot till april its in good condition for 19 years old lowered about 40 but not harsh at all
