Fan switching on sooner than usual

Hi, fan used to come on between 'L' and red but now comes on just after 'A'. The fan still brings the gauge to the same position as before though which is veeerrrry slightly over halfway.

 

Could only be due to the temp sender to the dash or the fan switch in the top hose right? Could it be down to a change in resistance in one of the circuits? I don't think its a major problem just yet as the fan still brings engine temp back down as it should, but maybe its a sign that something might fail in the near future?

no mate the fan should come on around the " a " of normal any higher is a problem
