Best wqay to find out is to phone your local metal merchant, tell him what car(s) you have, how complete it is, and weather you will drop it off or require pickup, phone 2 or 3 (DVLA approved enviromental vehicle dismantlers will probably give you the most since they get a huge payout from the government for every car they dispose of.)

I have a local guy who picks it up, im just wating to guestimate a price, its nothing much, just about 2 of which are full of other bits, engines etc.....

 

should be worth 100-120 then.

So you have 2 cars that have scrap in the boot like engines? Back in fife that'd get you over £150 collected, not sure about my local area, or indeed yours

Yeh ive got 2 i want to get shot of atm. Ill try them for a bit, but hes gotta be able to make something for himself.

I dont think itd be worth you comming, after traveling costs.

But its 2 shells, one is a Mondeo estate, no front wings/ bonnet etc... has got the doors,and some junk metal inside, 2nd is an orion, no doors, no front end has rear beam n that still on anf full of mostly metal junk.

Theres a Zetec engine, 2 Escort gearboxes IIRC (buggered ones) 1 Renault 21 box, which is pretty big, bits of subframes etc, Escort rear beam.

 

After whats been said id think £130 was fair?
