dont see point in iphone myself. i have a samsung B2100 solid as its near enough indestructable but would have got one of the sony ericsson smart phones. uses sony MP3 player software, smarter looking and less likely to get nicked as people like nicking iphones

p.s. my brother has had an iphone 2G more or less since they came out and has no problems with it bar crap battery life and never using it as more than a phone (he actually has an ipod as well thats left in the car :nutter: )

Why no chance? Have you spoken to o2, is it price of phone, tarrif?

Theyre usually good in the shop at working out a deal that will suit you & deal with your remaining tarrif.

I haven't been in the shop no but there is a thing on their site where you

  • Enter your mob #
  • They send you a number
  • You put the number in the box on the site
  • It tells you whether your elidgable for a upgrade or not

It told me I can't ungrade until my last month of my contract (11 months time)

Call them up or visit the shop dude, you can't blag or sweet talk a webpage! ;)

I just managed to get my missis an upgrade 8 months early for £15

That wasn't even for an iPhone, the providers are gagging for iPhone customers to look good for apple... A company has to sell £25,000 of each apple product before they start getting them at a reduced rate, up until then they make no profit on each phone then the more they sell after the 25k the cheaper they get and the more profit they make.

If that makes sence lol
