YellowWheels
I've got cctv in my taxi which currently uses videotapes to record. Just wondered if anyone on here would know whether I would be able to keep the current cameras but remove the video recorder and replace with a hard drive or somekind of sd card recorder? smithyandco
Depends on the camera and their outputs
Stu
I'd be very surprised if the cameras dont output standard composite video.. so yeah, loads of DVR devices out there... not sure how many are specific to cars though.
sortedford
I got a home one from Maplins for a project i had to do, a bit of overkill for what you need maybe as it was 4 cameras, but motion activated and 12v power to the DVR.
