sortedford
If youve had your car tracked and it still pulls to the side (quite alot) under normal driving, what could be the cause? Tyre pressure are the same and correct. Could it be it still isnt quite right, or would it point more towards a worn bush maybe? is it worth taking it back to get the tracking checked agin? BTW its not an Escort.

Scort_CVH
my boss told me if the tracking is miles out to advise the customer to return to have it re-adjusted a few days later. but if they havnt checked for play in the wheels first they shouldnt have done the tracking
sortedford
I'll check for play in the wheels then. It's not quite 3 years old yet so hasn't had its first not yet.

KNITERIDER
side to side id imagine, like if the bolts were loose but caused by other things.
Scort_CVH
what do you mean by play in the wheels? when the wheel is gripped at 9 and 3, you push it backwards and forwards. there should be very little movement. If theres alot of movement you can narrow down the problem by getting someone to hold the track rod end to see if that reduces the play or not HTH
