Looks alright, I'm sure it will grow on everyone.

Hopefully inevitable facelift within 3 years will make it look much better - same as with the old one.

Who's to say this is exactly how its gonna look, Ford will no doubt make a few and hopefully good changes prior to.its release

It would be called study or project ST, this is 99% finished product. It has been spotted on the usual stress test drives.

infact. the more i look at the front end it looks more like vantage. i woudnt say it was a dead ringer but id say there are similarities

  • 3 weeks later...

Its now being reported that they're gonna do slaoon n estate versions for the UK!!! Saloon Fords are for mainland Europe, no-one buys em here, they're sh1te!

**In a break from hot hatch tradition, the ST is a five-door, rather than a three-door shape. There are also plans to build saloon and estate versions of the ST, but only the latter will be sold in the UK.

The show car is dubbed the Focus ST, but Ford is toying with the idea of other names for the production cars, as XR and SVT badges have been used on hot Fords in other markets previously. The company is also considering an even hotter RS version, which could be a hybrid.

Estimated release date: 2012**

mmmmmm......

I'm trying hard to like it but not too sure to be honest...

the front end's all grille little bumper approach looks too much, unless it is a practicality thing then I think ford have shot themselves in the foot design wise.

Interior looks fussy, wtf with all this tech?! looks like it should come with gran turismo or sommat which you play with the twiddler knob and centre screen...

Though once it's on the road and people get used to it, it may not seem so bad and everyone will start raving about it.
