Andyb0127 Posted September 21, 2010 Share Posted September 21, 2010 In the light of the past couple off days on here thought I'd say let's put that behind us and start again and tell you bit about me,I've worked on bodyshops for twenty five years I started when left school worked in a bodyshop and did my training and qualified as a painter after that I left went to another bodyshop which restored cars I did restorations E-type jags,xk150s,lotus cortinas,various other cars some to concours standard but all nut and bolt re-builds I did this for fifteen years also got qualified as a panelbeater in that I did my own cars to mostly escorts,then felt like a change so I moved to the one im at now working on prestige cars spraying them also prepping them ready for paint,I've has various show cars over the years but my favourite was the mk2 Mexico I rebuilt takin two years to do it but it was only on the road fora out a year as I was driving home one nite sticking to the speed limit well sort of lol came to a corner lost control only to end rolling it completely wrecking it to I was gutted I will have another one at somepoint which I'm hoping to rebuild probrelive my youth lol, well that's about it like I said what happened in the past couple of days here can be forgotten and we can move on let's wait and see!!!!!!!!!!! Andyb0127 Posted September 21, 2010 Author Share Posted September 21, 2010 welcome to EVO just wondering did you take pics of the previous projects? or links, as love reading restoration threads!Hi yes I do have photos somewhere of cars I've done there in the usual box in the loft,I've been busy helpin a mate restore his lotus cortina at the moment it's a nut n bolt re-build everything is new it apparently a limited edition one called special features he said there was only ever fifty of them made and is worth a fortune when it's done but I will be putting pics of it on here for people to see....
