niki6969000 Posted September 26, 2010 Share Posted September 26, 2010 Hi all i have removed rear rubber seal to respray tailgate.mk6 5 door ,problem is i cant re-fit rubber properly,der.I would be greatful for any tips.Its been de badged de/locked and smoothed off and re-sprayed by myself,looks the nuts just need to fit rubber and fit...pics to follow. It might be worth cleaning the inner of the seal and also the surface then try again. Bit of washing up liquid on the metal surface to aid the rubber slipping on could help.
