Red strip in speedo

Some of u will know that si models came with red illumination on the speedo.. Which is done with a red strip where the bulbs are.... So, how do I take it out!!

if its the same as the green strip than i cut mine out

if you drive a mk5b like your avi says then just get the dials from a mk5 or mk5b XR3i/RS2000 or Si that already has the red floodlighting strip in and simply change the front covers over.

i used a dremel m8 made lite work of it
