escrt1.4i
going down the zetec turbo route starting to buy the bits recently bought a rs focus mk1 manifold and now looking to buy a turbo wondered would the t3 fit the rs manifold ?
massivewangers
Nope, different fitment. The Focus RS uses a T25. You can buy T25-T3/4 adaptors for the Pulsar/200SX that also uses a T25 type turbo (T28 in the case of the S14), but I'm not sure if it would work in this instance. I'd just try and find a Focus RS Turbo, or adapt one from a 200SX or similar!

massivewangers
Stu is probably better placed to answer this than myself, but I believe he had to do some fettling to get a 200SX unit to fit, where as obviously the Focus unit will work properly with the manifold you have. As for individual turbo speccing, that obviously depends entirely on the rest of the engine spec.

scottg17
why not just get a 2.0 and have it bored out to a 2.1 and use c20let pistons?

massivewangers
There really is a lot of topics on this subject, so it's worth doing a search. I'm sure Stu did a thread about it as well, so there's plenty of information about... There you go. That was right at the top of the page, didn't take much finding http://www.escortevolution.co.uk/forums/in...howtopic=130410
