gtichris
ad me head under car (60mm drop) the best i cn an annoying person really see a anti roll bar. is it worth fitting 1? an what car/parts do i need to do this? any pics of 1 in situ to aid helping me? cheers
Stu
It's pretty obvious if you have one fitted as it's bolted to the rear beam. I'd be very surprised if you have one fitted. Will it benefit you? I can't answer that, it will change the cars handling, but perhaps not in a way you'd be comfortable with? What problem are you trying to fix? gtichris
not trying to fix anything. had my eye on a anti roll bar poly bush kit an assumed all mk6 escorts ad rear 1s as ive never taken much notice. so wonderd if its actually worth fitting 1 or not if not il just change the front bushes as ive gt some movement in front an bushes look like they could do wi changing an at less than £20 for full set cant see it doing any harm. not really mest around wi mk6 scorts before so not that clued up on them etc im a mk2 fester genious pmsl cheers
Stu
Well.. the thing is it can do harm. If you stiffen up the front end of a fwd car, you could make it understeer worse. The best way to do things to do a car is first of all realise a problem and then look at ways to fix/help the problem.
