I like the look of that, seems a bit of a shame to break an interesting car

I know, it needs your zetec turbo in it :D

Im gonna drop the engine then decide what to do

You know that! Are you selling the nitrous kit?

possibly, dry wizard of nos kit with a custom sprayed 8lb bottle, 50bhp jet at the mo, got a 100 shot jet too (i think thats what it is :D)

drop us an offer via pm if interested.

okay guys and gals

this motor was stripped and a lot of parts sold and for a few month it was a running shell, no suspension etc with a lot of parts sold

but the van died of disease of the dreaded tin worm and because i cant manange without an escort of some kind in my life i decided to re-build it using the parts from the van plus some extra bits i had laying around.

now theres no nitrous (not my thing), no roll cage (as it was a show cage and only "looked the part") no hispecs (replaced with the mondys that were on the van)

how it currentley looks, 10 points per every item you notice that has been changed, except the obvious wheel change of team dynamics to escos's

just looking at a narrower tyre size for the escos's at the moment as the 225's are too wide and scrub like mad!

195's are too narrow for me as im not into the stretched look so maybe 205/45's or 205/40's

ideas plaese

once its moted, its getting 2 pairs of bucket seats for it and an evo front intercooler

Are you fitting the cyclone skirts/arches from the van? :thumb:

Love the look of that, glad the 'cage' has gone. Also looked better on the TDs than the cossies, but ahh well.

the TD's definatley suited better but id sold them before i had decided what i was doing with the shell

been a while since i updated this but theres been some subtle changes.

first off i sold the escos's and fitted some mint 18's off a lad on assioford but soon changed my mind as they no longer suited, youll see what i mean

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab3/jghs83/escort%20tdi%20estate/ccce8596.jpg

then pulled some stickers off so it looks like this

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab3/jghs83/escort%20tdi%20estate/04774fd9.jpg

the wheels fitted are kei racing RsGt's not rss as most people think they are that were resprayed in toyota metallic grey with a red pin stripe

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab3/jghs83/escort%20tdi%20estate/83bd6a2b.jpg

some pwople may recognise them from tthe for sale section as i want some either more escos's or some rs7's

also fitted some powerflex antiroll bar bushes and the cobra harnesses are fitted and usable.

some random piccies

This is the most confused car i've ever seen from the first pics!! Fully stripped out, but then bunged a show cage in it & worst more, re-gained all the weight lost with the cage and those stupid floor plates which weigh a good few KG =/ then the Scooby scoop and angel headlights - if this thing over took me on track I'd drive into the nearest tyre wall .....

Good for parts thou! I run those breaks on my 2.1 turbo and had to double pump the brakes as the MC couldn't cope, same problem with yours?

P.s. just seen the last few pics, get rid of the T*at scoop :)
