Door handles

I have n Escort mk5b, passenger back door handle is broken and I have mot on Friday so need a new one quickly! I think they are mk5 ones as standard? Just wondering if mk6 doorhandle would fit? As I have some in the shed. Or if Fiesta or other ford models hbe the same handle? Cheers

all doors must function correctly so as to allow rapid exit from a vehicle incase of emergency....... your dimness continues to alarm and amaze me

Im not 100% but if irrc you can use a mk6 handle with a little bit of shaving of the handles rear edge that otherwise strikes the door skin when at rest.

 

looks like shite tho so only usable as a stopgap to get through MOT's imo.

if it is a mk 5 b i dont think they will fit as they are a different shape, the mk6 handle is kinda rounded where as the mk 5 is more square.
