smithyandco
I'm sure they have to honour it if purchased, trading laws and all that?Loads of sites cock up on this... Under distant selling laws you can refuse/cancel the sale of any goods as a retailer before shipping regardless if payment has been taken or not. (obviously you must refund if payment is taken) References: I work for a large aviation online retailer along with several online simulation retailers (from the same desk) If they sort the issue out before they recieve loads of orders, they will probably let it slip as a good-will jesture as in this day and age it's better to lose a small amount on one cock-up for the sake of preventing bad publicity.Besides, customers ordering the cheap Live membership probably bought other things as well or will return the HMV for more products which will result in overall profit. LiamGTR
Argos set the bench mark for this, I remember i think it might have been Aaron, got a £999 TV for £99. Ever since, every site has found a way around not honouring it's prices before shipping.
