SLEEMAN
the original owner who had this car spent more than £50k it was probably more like £70-80k. the original owner was a plumber iirc and british white. i think the new owner has changed the car in some places, i can remember that the rear bumper was completely smoothed off no exhaust hole etc unsure whether there was a mk5 or the mk6 dash was in there before the original owner sold it. but i did know he got the rs2k transplant done. by the looks of the sellers feedback he is a wheeler dealer as he has sold a few cars and car parts on ebay. with a modified car like that it should be seen before sold first to check the quality of any other work thats been done to it. SLEEMAN
it used to go to every single car show in britain just to show it off and possibly get awards for it etc
LiamGTR
Fair play to him, if that's what he likes doing - No harm done I personally wouldn't have went down that much of a modded route (and no way could I afford to) But atleast he's done it properly
SLEEMAN
true you have a point, to be fair that car has gone through at least 3 or 4 bodykit changes. i can remember when that car used to be a metallic green with a cosworth syle front end, morettes and interior was pretty similar but white and green i think it was. then he changed the front end. hence why the car has had that much money put towards it!! if i were to modify a car like that i would only spend about £10-20k rather than 60k! wwwd
Isn't this the one that's been shown around for the last few years? Whats the point in screens in the back of the headrests if there are no back seats...? And a general question... WHY?!Good point, but I don't think the car as a whole really conforms to common sense to be honest.
ajc.78
It's a completely and utterly tasteless example of the worst kind of chav'd up rubbish max power readers would have got excited about 10 years ago. It never ceases to amaze me that people like spending so much money on making a car go slower and handle worse and sound like a teenagers party in a halfords car park! ST170 Dan
ive never minded this car, if only for the sheer amount of work thats gone into it. i dont think id have sold it though, it doesnt seem to fetch much!!
rufio_gti
It was probably done back in the day when that was the thing to do. Massive bodykits and huge sound system. Just ain't the case nowadays
