doobieduck
just got my insurance quote through the door from chris knotts and its up by £132 last year i paid total of £300 thats everything included,6 or 7 years ncb, full protection, fully comp, paying monthy aswell what kind of a rip off is this.wont have minded if it was £50 or something like that but i think £132 is a bit over the score the cheapest quote ive had so far is £324 from another company.so where are chris knotts getting this quote from. guess i wont be back this year sorry to see me go,but glad im off had big praise for them last year beause they did save me over £

Jordan99940
insurance in general is going up this year as so many people are claiming for personal injury. another thing i have spotted i think they have changed the insurance group ratings from 1-20 to 1-50 does any body have any info about this or why? LiamGTR
They realised they gave you too cheap of a quote last year and trying to claw back some profit! lol
stoo2000
Unfortunately, insurance costs have gone up due to the increase of claim costs, At the end of the day though Chris Knott were still the cheapest for me. Give them a ring back and see if they can beat your cheapest quote

caled
£324 and you're moaning? :| Heh. Ring up Chris Knott and see if they can't do something about it, its probably just an automatically generated renewal or some such. Failing that, ring around some other brokers, its not like there arent a lot of them. What makes you say they've given up on their clientele? doobieduck
£324 and you're moaning? :| im not moaning about that, thats where i will be going for my new policy, ive had 17 years of crazy insuance quotes, paying £1000+ a good few times, only every made one claim(escort van stolen about 8 years ago)total 6 point now clean(years ago) think its 12/13 years on own policy...its went from £300 up to £432 maybe if it went to around £350 a might have stayed since other quotes are around that price, but they must think im nuts if im going to pay £432 £324 and you're moaning? :| Heh. mclovin9091
£100 is nothing, just got quoted over DOUBLE this year. Paid £260 last year and now they want almost £500. Better get in quick though before they go up again coz people can't drive on snow properly. Oh and that is as a new customer.

LiamGTR
You do realise insurance grounds have gone from 0-20 to 0-40? So it going to 32 is basically the same as it being 15 (or 16..) on the old insurance group scheme
