got my new wheels back

Got my wheels back yesterday from the bodyshop.

 

I wasnt sure what colour to do them, I thout black at first. but I have seen a lot of red cars with black wheels, I was going to go for dark gray aswell, but then decided on white. turned out really good well chuffed with the way they came out.

Very nice, are they 16" mondeo's? I'm in the same position, going to put 16" mondeo's on my Red GTi, was thinking of a Darkish metallic Grey, but I do like white..

What it cost to have them painted in a body shop?

How hard is it to spray alloys yourself, especially white? I know of people spraying thier alloys white, but then never being able to clean them good, as if the dirt gets sunk into the paint, probably because they are not baking them to harden the paint..how do you get around? that by doing it yourself?

if theyre lacquered tidy that should be sufficient,same as any panel really.

yea there the Mondy wheels. cost me £80 to get the set painted (usualy £120). i like the dark grey, but black, I feel that black make them look far smaller than they are thats why I didnt do them black, so i tossed a coin and said heasd=white - tails=dark grey lol
