Andyb0127
As my escort needed four new tyres, I decided to shop around few companies for prices and see what the best deal was I could get, as my escort still runs original ford alloys 195/50/15 with a V rating. I was quoted anywhere from £220 to £350, so I decided last stop was kwik fit decided to be crafty as the guy in reception for price on four tyres wanting a fairly decent make, he said had I got any prices so I told him I had been quoted £200.00 for four bridgestone tyres ( I actually hadn't it was £220.00 but worth a try) he went of to see his manager came back and said ok can do it for £200.00 so had them fitted.. When I paid got the receipt should of been £330.00 managed to get £130.00 discount :-)))) If you dont ask or try you don't get I was happy with over £300.00 of tyres for £200.00 :-))))))

Craig855S
Fair play thats cheap, blackcircles cant match that. They'd want 220 for 4 bridgestone ER300s fully fitted
scottg17
aye but how decent were these decent tyres, were that actully a branded make or some kind of ling long ditch finder?but on average, a fairly good price camskill do good deals on tyres so it may be worth looking on there

I doubt they were, the previuos owners had probably just stuck to the "manufactureres recomended tyre" when replacing them, which is the pirelli P9000 or whatever. Did you not want to consider some sports tyres? Although blackcircles cant get you ER300s for less than what you paid, they could have got you Falkens and for a few quid more, Toyos
Andyb0127
The previous owner was a relative and had only ever had a set of front tyres put on it, the rear ones were the original firestones from when she bought the car, so I've known this escort since it was brand new which is partly the reason I bought it off her as I knew all the history off it and it was cheap lol.. Never considered toyos or falkens just wanted a mid range tyre that are fairly hard wearing that's why I went for bridgestones. :-)))))
