SLEEMAN
depends on whats size wheels you got? 15's? 16's 17's?? i have a st24 brake conversion which is 278mm comes with newish discs, okish pads and calipers in any colour of your choice for £110 delivered all you need is new brake hoses probably best to get new pads, and also need new caliper springs, the drill out your hubs to 12mm and it will all bolt on! SLEEMAN
SLEEMAN can you get 15"s over them? without a doubt mate! you still using the finesse 7 spoke ones if so they should fit if not can always grind down a bit of metal on the calipers. doesn't matter if you do or don't have abs, but abs usually reduces options with ford upgrades. as for rear conversion i wouldn't just yet, the best rear disc conversion is a focus rear disc conversion as that is all caliper brakes and no drums in site. Craig855S
The brake calipers fitted to all V6 equipped mondeos (mk2s definately, mk1s maybe too???) are the exact same part as the calipers fitted to the escort and sierra cosworth 4x4s..So do yourself a favour and buy them from a scrappy that has a mk2 mondeo 2.5 V6 (non ST badged) on the yard, they'll want pittence, wheras if you try adn get some off something with a cosworth badge or even ST24/ST200 they'll ask a lot more. so go for a V6 ghia.. In fact... Click this Give that guy a message and ask him for the calipers (and if the pads in them have enough life left in them to chuck them in too) I used that method and the guy only wanted £18 including postage for the pair! (not the same guy)
