R229 JYG's replacement..and because another member who shall remain nameless..*COUGH* (projectrs2k)*COUGH* didnt even give the engine chance to cool down before demanding i start a new thread.. here we go..its a W reg 2000 mk6 1.6 finesse..(bit of a drop from the 1.8si.. but hey... cheaper insurance! )and like all mk6s it has a coupla little problems.. sommat and nowt..and after all the fun we had getting it out of waynes (heavyrightfoot) driveway.. heres the pics...http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/car4.jpgone of the little problems..not bad tbh..http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/car3.jpghttp://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/car2.jpghttp://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/car1.jpg it has a coupla rust spots on the bootlid but wayne has a replacement bootlid for me;) and one of the front brakes has developed a squeak.. but ill be swopping them for my rs brakes..and one foglight is broke but again ill be swapping them over thats it for now.. but i promise ill get some better ones when this weather backs off a bit.. Mine is stuck outside at the moment, would love somewhere proper and dry to keep it. Got a MK5 on the go at the moment. Don't think there's actually any pictures on here actually.
