JC
Any one had any personal experience with Toyo R1R? And any indication how it compares to R888 or T1R?

SLEEMAN
nah i just looked it up the Toyo R1R, is road legal track tyre with more tread pattern so its suitable for road use as well as track. and price isn't bad, for a set of 195/50/15 they are £260 the R888's are at least double that. but john if i were you mate stick to T1R's for now as they are cheap for 15's, ebay for £130 a set!! bargain! JC
they seem to have good reviews, but wondered if anyone had ever used them?? want something better than the T1r for a the track :-) I will use a set of of alloys just for track use as discovered tracks do kill off road tyres quickly! Underinflation/overinflation, not warming tyres up or overheating them can all kill tyres in a few miles on the track. What tyre pressures do you run? What tyre pressures do you run? an interesting point same as on the road: 35 on the front 32 on the rear, with 195/50 r15 tyres what would you recomend?
