ScORTED
the pay out should be its precrash market value and the buy back should be its bottom salvage price - you should be able to buy the wreck back for £100 or so
Markt8
i didnt have to buy my car back from insurance when i got hit, i told them i wanted to keep it and they didnt mention anything else i just kept it and got a decent pay out mark
nozaroc0
some one went into the back of my mates skyline, insurance said if they wrote it off they would pay out 3 grand if he wanted to buy it back they would chage 900 quid. so he would have had his car back and 2100 quid to fix it. in the end he got the insurace company to fix it and it cost them 2860 quid (they provided receipts) and the colour match was kack! i dont think insurance will charge much for an escort. duffa
well...got the Legal & Technical Assessors report...good for a laugh >>repair costs..blah..blah blah......... reasonable labour charge would be ..£861.90 ..paint and materials would amount to £332.82 ...cost of new parts approx £780.25 ...specialist/sundry charges £15.00...vat £343.23 ..giving a total repair cost of ....£2338.20 ...subject to undisclosed damage i think there could be more damage as i've been out this morning to remove chrome door handles ( soon to be up for sale ) ..and both back doors wont open / shut without a bit of force so possibly a twisted back end ?
