I think tez was referring to the OEM water/oil heat exchanger (modine), not some fancy unnecessary oil cooler.

Aw ok, im going to need to find pics of said item

I've got a 1400CVH 3door escort with big end damage, was going to do a turbo conversion on it but weather I'll get round to it or not is another thing lol.

What you doing with the old CVH? It run ok?

Do the conversion and make it quick so you can help me haha

probs bin it mate tbh but im miles away from you anyway lol

Good luck with your project.I also followed that route :) If you need any info pm me :) I extended all the wiring loom and installed the ECU in it's default position.I run on OFAB too.You will also need a fuel pump, cause the old one won't last long due to high demands of fuel under boost...

Hey James!!James,am I right...? :nutter: If not, excuse me,it's ages since I was in here....family matters, car matters, job matters...all gone upside down...but all are fine now,so here I am :) Glad to see you again :) I did the RST conversion for about 2 years now...I will update my garage and upload pics etc,it is a long story ;) Nobody knew anything...first time attempt, even @ Ford garages couldn't help :( I am really pleased with the result.

Hello m8,first of all good luck with your project. It is a very good choice, you'll see.You can keep the EDIS where it was before. As far as i saw from your pics,it wasn't distributor equiped,I am right? As for the fuel pump, you can use the standard cossy fuel pump from burtons, this is what I have now.It managed to blow the 1.4 fuel pump, and a fuel pump from a 1.8.lol.It wants to drink more and more :P The cossy fuel pump from burtons is a walbro one,so it will be fine.Since you will replace the pump, buy a better one for future upgrades too,not the rst standard one :)

Cheers :)
