They are the same mate, the handles are different, mirrors and mk6 has crash protection bars

Im not 100% about the mechanisms mate, ive got mk5 doors to go on mine but there in the snow covered shed so i cant check lol

same latch, same latch bar, same hinges, same door dimensions and basically the same electrics door loom (mk5 full electrics wernt so common as the later mk6's)
