mclovin9091
1st off HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I have this set up on my escort: http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/mac9091/Escort/007-1.jpg Is there anyway i can get just the one peice pipe from? I'm sure i have seen one recently but for the life of me cannot remember who had it. All i can think of is asking someone like samco to knock one up for me Cheers
mclovin9091
Anyone? No! OK what about: i've been looking at the metal inlet pipe with 'turbo' stamped on it, would this be suitable for a 1.6 or is it only suitable for a 1.8?
SLEEMAN
you can have the crossover pipe , but then again you can custom make your own intake for example get a couple of silicone hoses 90 degree bend ones and a straight piece of chrome pipe and then add an induction kit and sorted!! mclovin9091
Was thinking to make my own but was worried about the clearance under the bonnet to the top of the intake pipe. Being that the standard turbo crossover and my current intake are both flattened when going over the rocker cover.
SLEEMAN
clearance should be ok with a custom one as long as you stick to the the diameter of the throttle body etc then there will be no rubbing or clearance issues!
mclovin9091
Ok cheers, just realized what i could do. Take the pipe that i've already got and place it where i would want the new pipe to go (DOH!!!)
